Why does JIO can't work in 3G and why dose 3G internet service provider can't give 4G

You must have wondered some time that why dose my old phone can't use a 4G SIM like JIO or AIRTEL etc.

Before answering that I will clarify that In this blog I will not tell you how you can or can't use 4G in 3G device or 3G in 4G device. But I will talk about what is the problem in the first place. 

But first let us understand how does the internet work. Basic concept of internet is fairly similar with shopping. "You want something you don't have you ordered it and it will delivered at your home" . Sometime delivery can take time or some item can't be deliverable. Here something that you don't have is data and the delivery speed is 3G or 4G. 

Basic structure of internet

Now you know the basic structure of internet. You can understand that 2G, 3G, 4G is nothing but the representation of speed in which data can be transfer between two devices.

These speeds are not achieve in thin air but with new infrastructure, technology and application just like if you wanted to deliver big item in less time you have to change your infrastructure and all so that things can go quickly around.

Now comes the million dollar question “why 4G can’t work in 3G speed”. It’s because it is not suppose to be it’s like you have a mango in your hand and you are asking for carrot just eat the mango.

And if you have only carrot then deal with it.

Here mango is 4G and carrot is 3G.

And if you don’t understand why 3G internet service providers can’t switch to 4G it’s because it’s take effort and millions of dollars.
